Come along with the Castros and crack open some pistachios...

One of our favorite snacks to eat as a family is pistachios. We usually eat them while sitting on the floor in the boys room playing. Maddox will pretty much try anything as long as mama or papa is eating it to. He even ate a whole bowl of squid ink pasta the other night despite the way it looked. He wasn't sure at first but decided if we were both eating it he would do it too. Maddox thinks pistachios and popcorn are two of the most fun snacks to eat. He loves using his teeth to try and get the nut out of the shell. Sometimes when it is too hard (don't you hate those ones...you know the kind that are barely even open) he will tell me "its not working" mama.  Here he is trying so hard to get one open and then the other is him enjoying the sweet victory! (I dont know where he got those cheekbones and dimples...wow)
